Bobo & Boo Bamboo Dinner Sets For Children
Allergy Train is excited to announce the addition of a brand new product that will allow health conscious parents a safe, yet still stylish and functional alternative to using potentially toxic plastics at the dinner table.
Concerns about toxins in plastic have been rising over the past decade. Research has revealed that BPA (Bisphenol A), a chemical which has been widely used to harden plastics and in the lining of food and beverage cans since the 1950s, was leaching from plastics into foods and consequently into people’s bodies. BPA has been shown to interfere with the human endocrine system, which is what our bodies use to control hormones, and this disruption has been linked to increased health risks including breast cancer, prostate cancer, diabetes and obesity.
Conscious consumers around the world have taken a wisely conservative approach when it comes to using plastics containing BPA and many countries have now banned its use in items such as baby bottles and other children’s products. Whilst BPA free alternatives to traditional plastics are currently believed to be a safer option, there are suspicions that the chemicals replacing BPA are causing toxic consequences of their own. Research in this area is ongoing and so far inconclusive.
Many parents are currently searching for non-plastic and safer alternatives when it comes to products for their children.
